In the heavier industries where bulk materials such as cement, limestone, fly ash, slag, coal and ores have to be carried to a great height, a chain elevator provides the solution. These abrasive products, which are required in large quantities to feed the process, have an enormous impact on the service life of the elevators. By selecting the right configuration, taking into account the speed of the buckets and the selected materials, the lifetimes of the chain, buckets, elevator head and base can be increased dramatically.
Forms of tipping:
- Center discharge for gravitational unloading of abrasive products at low speed
Transporting to a height of 70 metres is not exceptional
- Big height differences can be overcome relatively cheaply
- Low energy consumption
- Compact dimensions
- Tried and tested concept
Centrifugal tipping, gravity tipping, chain central or double, hinging hatches, square legs, version for high temperatures.
Wear-resistant buckets, foot, electronic protection against sideways displacement, inspection hatches etc.
