Klinkenberg screw feeders do what they are designed to do, under all circumstances and with every imaginable product. The screw feeders are available in completely gas-tight versions for dosing very fine or hazardous powders and granulates. This means that hazardous vapours and noxious odours remain inside the system! The machines are made of steel, stainless steel and/or wear-resistant materials. Naturally, a lot of thought goes into sealing the axle pin apertures to guarantee dust-tight construction.

Screw feeders for coarse & fine dosing and mass flow dosing include versions with:
double shafts, overhead valve, spring bottoms and brushed steel finish.
With dosing it is important that the required capacity is a stable factor. This can easily be achieved with a good screw design. The design has to take into account the following factors
- The product must not flow over the screw shaft tube after the inlet
- The slipping of the screw shaft against the product must be virtually zero
- With watery products, uncontrolled movement must be prevented
