Augers

Augers come in a very wide variety of types and sizes. Thanks to their versatility, augers can be used in various industries.

The materials selected depend very much on the bulk goods that are to be transported. When selecting the material for augers, you need to know exactly what effects the bulk product will have on the material (abrasive, corrosive etc.)

Of course, with Klinkenberg Zaanstad the customer has a say in the standard of finish of the augers.

Stainless steel augers

Pickling and passivating
Pickling, passivating and grinding to a specified Ra value
Pickling, passivating and grinding to a specified Ra value, followed by electrolytic polishing

Steel augers:

Shot blasted to SA2.5
Shot blasted to SA2.5, oiled
Shot blasted to SA2.5 and fully painted.
