Mass flow dosing
In applications where it is important to generate a mass flow, it is important that the product column above this screw gradually sinks according to the FIRST IN FIRST OUT (FIFO) principle.
This is especially important when a cooling or heating tower is positioned above the dosing screw. You need to be able to dose the product gradually past the cooling plates to the outlet of the dosing screw. To achieve this, it is important that the same amount of product flows between the screw flights with each rotation of the shaft.
Industries for mass flow dosing:
Foodstuffs, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Biomass, Plastics, Paper, Pet food, Cement, Sugar and many others.
Advantages of mass flow dosing
Compact; accurate; very suitable as topping off system with volumetric and gravimetric dosing equipment.
Low maintenance; dust-free production; long service life.
Ability to handle large capacities to guarantee the shortest possible topping off time.
Single or double dosing shafts or to client specification; brushed steel version, etc.
